How to find Larchdown Farm

From London/Heathrow/Gatwick
Take the M4 Motorway West from Heathrow and proceed to junction 8/9 where you come off and follow the A404M for about 3 miles. When you see the signs for Henley, take the slip road off and join the A4130 and follow this to Henley-on-Thames.
When you come down Remenham Hill and over the River Thames you will come into Hart Street, which is a wide street which leads up to the Town Hall. Just before the Town Hall there is a set of traffic lights where you branch right and follow the A4130 towards Oxford.
When you leave Henley on the A4130 you will go down the Fairmile (a long straight mile long avenue) which then leads up into the beechwoods and takes you to Nettlebed. When you come to a roundabout just before Nettlebed take the first left and proceed for about 1 mile to Highmoor and just after passing the Dog and Duck Pub take a right to Stoke Row. When you enter Stoke Row, you pass a village green on your right and then a pub called 'The Cherry Tree'. Just beyond this pub there is a road on the left ‘Busgrove Lane’ which is signed ' Vanalloys Business Park'. Turn left in to this road and then drive exactly 0.8 mile down into the beechwoods and take the first road on the right. Go up the hill for 0.2 mile and as you come out of the wood there is a cottage on your right and the drive to Larchdown Farm is immediately on your left. If you miss our drive you will very soon enter the village of Checkendon so you will know you have gone too far!

From the West (via M4)
Exit at junction 12 and turn right onto A4 towards signed Newbury. At the second roundabout take the right hand exit A340 to Tidmarsh and then Pangbourne. When you enter Pangbourne turn right by The Copper Inn into Village square and then left signed ‘Whitchurch’. Go over river Thames and Toll Bridge (10p) and through Whitchurch and follow road B471 up hill and proceed to junction at Crays Pond. Turn right and immediately left and then into Village of Woodcote. When village cricket pitch is on your right take next right and at next cross roads take another right and left over the A4074 and shortly after you enter village of Checkendon.
Go past the Four Horse Shoes Pub on right, Church on left, Cricket Pitch on right and then take the next turning right into Whitehall Lane. Go past Village Post office and out of Village. 100 yards past the speed de-restriction sign turn right into Larchdown Farm.

From North (via M40)
Depending on which junction you come off, proceed south until you pick up signs for A4074. Follow A4074 around Wallingford and Crowmarsh. Follow road over the downs past Ipsden and then up a long hill, passing turn to Woodcote on right, Take next left into Checkendon and then follow directions as above.

From Reading
Go north over the River Thames and follow A4074 to Wallingford and Oxford. After about 6 miles you come out of the beech woods and on your left is The Oratory School. Indicate right at this point and take the next turning right into Checkendon. Enter village and pass Four Horse Shoes Pub on right, Church on left, Cricket Pitch on right and then take the next turning right into Whitehall Lane. Go past Village Post office and out of Village. 100 yards past the speed de-restriction sign turn right into Larchdown Farm.
